I'v been looking at alot of different fathers day knives lately, and so far the KA-BAR Dozier has really jumped out at me.
He likes my spyderco's and understands that a knife can be a really handy tool, but dosn't edc (im hoping to get him hooked
)
Generally, I'd go for a Spyderco, but there are a lot of things that would make this a good choice for my pa
-it's farily cheap; he won't buy an expencive knife because he thinks he'll loose it (I agree that very well may)
-it comes in bright orange zytle; makes it easier to find when it is lost, also a +1 for the bush
-AUS8 steel, while not the toughest, should hold up to some abuse
-it's cheap again, so if does break, it's less of a loss
-the fact that it's a KA-BAR makes me think that i'm getting alot of quality in a small cheap knife.
I'm looking for thoughts, as well as some comparsion pictures (for size)
thanks.
