KA-BAR EK handle fit a Richmond,VA EK?

Does anyone know if the handles on the new KA-BAR EK's will fit on the Richmond,VA made EK's? I have a EK 5 made in Richmond that came with the cord wrapped handle. I took the cord off and it's drilled for scales. If they would fit does KA-BAR sell the handles and hardware seperately?
