KA-BAR folder input requested

I am hearing from folks near the front line that the KA-BAR Desert Mule folder is gaining some popularity. Anyone here have an opinion on the quality and performance of this knife?
 
Hey, thanks for the link. I don't do so good on searches.

I will also review this knife as soon as it get in.
 
I have several them (Mule) in different configurations ...LOVE the -->> ... solid build ... good lock up ... nice sheath. ... and reasonable price ... handle has a solid grip to it...

Howdy and Welcome!

The search function here takes a bit of getting used to. Google uses an AND operator. The Forums search function uses an OR operator, as in: find posts with "first term" OR "second term" OR "third term". So you can get a lot of hits really fast. But if you get too many hits, it overloads the function and you get a white screen. So you need to limit your searches. Here are some tips:
Don't use words like blade, knife, or steel.
Try single words first instead of combinations
limit your searches to a single forum until you get a feel for how many hits your search gets.
Search titles only first. If you don't get enough hits, then you can try searching the entire posts.

So to apply these tips to this search, do this:
Click the search button.
On the pop-up, click "advanced search". You get a whole big screen.
Enter "mule" no quotes.
select "Titles only"
Select "Knife Reviews and Testing"
Clear the "search subforums" box.

Click "Search Now"

You will find a half dozen threads.

The consensus is that is a well made, darn near indestructible knife.
