KA-BAR JAB Parangatang

I have trouble passing a deal. I grabbed a Parangatang and to get free shipping grabbed the Potbelly too. 😉

Right on Slice, I'am just wondering if KaBar is going to disco these or is this just a temporary sale ? 🤔

It states limited time.
The Halloween sale said limited time too. Shortly after the swabbie and cleaver went on clearance and the others went back up to their discounted price.

I would speculate that the same will be with these sometime this year.
The Parangatang has been "discounted " for a long time now, the bacon maker is gone...I assume these will follow suit. Short of a freebie, I don't see them being cheaper than this though for the foreseeable future.

Great price point, lots of USA 1095cv to play with, mod, or gift.
 
I didn't see this till it was too late and had ordered a swabbie and a zomstro...which I have already...and now am tempted by the parangatang and potbelly...which I also have. My only justification would be to snag a 2nd gen potbelly as mine is a 1st gen with the hollow grind...maybe also grab a parangatang and leave it be, as mine is slightly mod'd

Received the Potbelly and the Parangatang today. I gotta say I'am glad I didn't pass these bye 😳 I New I would like the Parangatang but wasn't sure about the Potbelly. Now that the Potbelly is here I don't know what to say except it's quite a hunk of 1095. The grind appears to be nothing short of awesome. We will see. 👍
 
If they stay discounted fir a while I may grab another Potbelly and Parangatang.
Still a WIP but this is where I am with the Potbelly...

 
They are the Becker VZ. They shipped me a set that was 2 nut sides and replaced the promptly and let me keep these.
they don't really work for this, I tried, so this is on hold for now. I have plans for other scales but have been busy.
