Ka-Bar Jarosz Folder - Scale Fit and Finish Issue?

Hey Guys, I recently picked up the new Ka-Bar Jarosz Folder.

I like the knife, and think it's a great design, but the scales on mine aren't put on completely "straight" and the edge of one of the FRN scale peeks out over the steel liners by about a milimeter, and it's kind of sharp and not that pleasant.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue or did I just get unlucky with mine? Thanks!
 
I'll probably be ordering one of those knives in the next week or two. Why not just send it in to Kabar? They offer a lifetime warranty and will repair or replace it for you.
 
I can't say I've noticed that on any of the ones I've seen/handled (about 20 of them). Have you tried loosening the screws and shifting the scale a bit? That may solve the issue.

I have been carrying one for almost two months and have given probably 5 away as gifts and haven't noticed anything like this. Please send an email to our customer service at info@ka-bar.com with photos. We have a lifetime warranty on our products and if something is off on your knife we would certainly want to take a look.
 
Thank you very much, guys. I will try to loosen the screws and shift the scale a little with my thumb. If that doesn't work I'll send it in. I don't mind snapping a pic - I'll try to do that. I appreciate the responses. Glad I brought this up as it sounds like an anomaly. Thank you.
