Looking for some feedback on the pros and cons of each of these knives. I’m a long time knife enthusiast and outdoors man. I have several costumes, most of which are constructed of ATS-34 with black micrata handles. One of my philosophies when I’m backpacking aboard and sometimes not the safest places is to NOT take anything I’d cry about if it was lost, stolen or broken. Hence, I’m semi retiring my trusty Fallkniven S1 Forest because they have risen to a price where I would not be willing to replace it if something happened to it. The $50 to $90 range was what I was looking at for its replacement and after talking to friends and reading WAY too many reviews, I’ve narrow it down to these two. Pluses and minuses in my view are, I like the RAT-5’s size a little better and I like the Turok’s sheath system much more. Constructive advice is welcome.

Thank you!

I'm not sure how old this post is, but I'd suggest getting the rat.
I'm sure the jaroz is a great knife, but the rat is pretty tried and true.
Doesn't it also come in 5160? Thatd be a clincher for me, but I think that's an irrational bias.

Oh shit, that is old. Which one did you get?

Well that was his only post on this forum and he hasn’t been on the here in over a year, I doubt you will get an answer.
