Saw this knife mentioned in another thread on ugly knives and to me, it actually looked pretty good. While they call it a sheepsfoot the blade looks a little like a Wharncliff to my eye. While the steel isn't that great I've found the knife going for as little as $12-$13. Is it worth that?

with 50-52 HRC rockwell... that is soft. Sure you probably get it razir sharp but don't expect it to hold edge much. Too bad, there aren't many sheepshoof/wharnie folders. I would have bought this but the poor metal turned me off...

My wife got me one, I commented on liking the design but she didn't hear me comment on the steel. Takes alot of wrist flick with all that blade, I haven't put it to work yet.

I purchased a warthog earlier last year before they switched to 3cr13 from Din 1.4116 ss (HRC 56-58), now I have used the crap out of it and its not to bad, quick deploy blade.

It appears to be called a Sheepfoots blade when the end is rounded, like the K2 you linked too, and a Wharncliffe when the end is is a straight line from the top to the edge. Course they both accomplish the same thing. I think that knife has good looks, but as pointed out it doesn't really have good materials. Of course it is under the Kabar name, so it may be decent, and for the price, you could do worse.

If you get it I would like to hear how you like it.

I think, at that level of hardness, you'll be doing more sharpening than cutting. That knife is about the hardness level of most cheap machetes. I'd expect more from my folder than that when it comes to blade hardness.
I wonder if that could be a typo? It just doesn't sound like something KABAR would put out.
