So, I've received a couple of emails from Ka-Bar in regards to this upcoming promotion.
I have not been able to find a real clear explanation on it from the website.

Can someone shed a little light on this please? Thanks!

Sure. Starting Thursday morning at 8am EST for every dollar you spend you get to spend a dollar on us. For example, you buy a USMC Fighting/Utility knife. You would then have the amount it cost for you to purchase this item in your cart. It is kind of like a buy one get one free with the exception that you can buy anything as long as it is under the cost of the item you are purchasing. We ran this same promotion last year and it went very well. If it is still unclear visit KA-BAR.com this weekend, add an item to your cart and it pretty much guides you through the rest.

I believe you have to spend all of the "KA-BAR Kash" in your cart before final check out so be sure you have exactly what you want. If you don't have exactly what you want just buy more; this is the only time during the year KA-BAR offers a discount on standard products.
 
Yeah, dunno why I asked that...afterwards I was thinking why would I wait for more glorious steel!
Actually... Might be a good time to snag a bunch of sheaths and scales as well! Already got the go ahead from the wife!
 
Yeah i was thrilled when i read this, went to the website filled my cart...but no international sales! Not even to Canada? Dang!

Did something happen with the Ka-Bar Kash? I was working on an order and suddenly the option to use the Ka-bar Kash disappeared.

Hey UCPOPO, the promotion ended at 4pm EST. If you are concerned that you had an order that did not go through please contact info@ka-bar.com tomorrow as we are closed for the day now and we will look into it for you.
