I was a little disappointed today when the mail came and there was no kukri, but, as luck would have it, the UPS dude pulled up about an hour later. Loving this blade. Really nice.

Really nice blade. Love the weight and feel of it. I can tell it will be a chopping machine. This is my first kukri. I love how the blade "snaps" forward while doing a chopping motion. Thanks again for the contest moose, and thanks to Toooj and the KA-BAR employees, very much appreciated.

I know man, is that your first Kabar kuk? That guy was lashed to my pack for a while before an early tuition bill came in and I needed to sell of most of my knife collection to foot the bill. Then came the 9, and it sits in the place the kuk once did, but those things r effing sweet and chop like a wolverine
 
Pretty neat huh?........the original zombie killer........I had one a few years ago and gave it to someone that was hot for it. I remember sharpening the swedge. Have fun.:thumbup:

It's a beast, innit? Here's mine, chillin' with some kin from the Himalayas. The Kabar kuk is a beast of light chopper and light (when compared to overbuilt kuks, anyway) machete.

HI and BK play nicely together ;) A Rat came by to play too!

What's that just right of what I believe to be a BK7?
 
How tight is the blade on that? I've got some wobble with my Warthog, which has the same handle.

+1 on no wobbles on the kukri. Mine has put in about 40 hours of work so far chopping and hacking, and still no sign of wobble.
