Don't Know the Thickness. Do Know it's Carbon steel. 1090 or 1095 I think. I know Mine was carbon(That was 2 years ago) because it would get little rust spots on the edge if i failed to take proper care after use, And It sharpened like carbon Steel. I'm Sure it is Full tang, But I think it's a tapered tang that goes into the rubber handle. Kind of the same that regular Kbar knives are. Or like the Kbar Large Bowie. same like that tang.
1 thing I do know for sure is you will not find a Better Kukri for the Price. In My Opinion it rivals Cold Steels $100 Model. It's Not a cheapo like cold steels 19.99 model. (even though Cold Steels 19.99 model is fine and can be made sharp) The Kbar has a perfect handle and is sharp and tough. I'd get it over any other brand offered if I did it over again.
Ok, yes it it is definatlly "Full tang" But same Full tang like Kbar Heavy Bowie and same materials. The tang gets thinner to go into rubber handle but it still goes full to bottom. I do not know the term for that type of tang but it gets smaller but is still from tip of knife to but of knife like Heavy Bowie.
