Now, this may sound a little strange, but I was walking home a few minutes ago from the pizza parlor across the alley, and there's a guy by the dumpster jumping up and down on a couch trying to break it in half so it will fit into the dumpster. I laughed and told him he would be there all night. Got home, grabbed my Kukri Machete, and went back out.
It's a Ka-Bar, but it's made in Taiwan, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Well, hit the first whack on the "sweet spot" and it went about 3/8" into the wood. No joke.
Took me about 10 minutes, but had two halves of a sofa when I was done. I think I like this thing.
