Ka Bar Large Hunter

Hey Guys,

I wanted to know if anyone has any comments on the Large Ka Bar Dozier Folding Hunter. The 3" model is all the rage, but by all indications, it can be opened quickly, while the larger model appears to be a slow opener.

Has anyone tried to loosen the pivot screw? What result?

Any other guidance would be helpful. Thanks.

I have the KaBar Large Dozier.
I reviewed it in full a couple of years ago here:

I do find it slower to open than the 3" models. I've not tried to loosen the pivot screw. Speed of deployment is not an issue to me. I still find it to be a nice blade and it still sees pocket time.
