Ka-Bar marine hunter?

Huh, first time I've seen a Kabar made out of that steel that I can remember. I own two Kabar knives, both 7 inch traditional fighters. I admittedly like my kraton handles and synthetic sheath over the stacked leather and leather sheath.
 
I think Knives P. has cataloged this knife for quite a while ... I would like to have one but have not got that far on my "want it - got it" list.
 
I have one, never used it. Adds to the backcountry cabin look of my apartment, seems to me like a looker, not a user. the finish is extremely high polished and gets wrecked just drawing it from its sheath, much less actually using it. TAIWAN is stamped on the blade...
