Ka-Bar Model 1277 Large Heavy Bowie

Hi to all. New member here.

Interested in the Ka-Bar 1277 Large Heavy Bowie for utility and camping tasks. I went to the Ka-Bar website to look at the specs and couldn't find it in their product listings. Can anyone tell me if this knife has been discontinued?

I was unsuccessful in finding an e-mail link to ask Ka-Bar the same question.

Thanks for the link to the retailer, but I still wonder if Ka-Bar is producing this knife. As I said, I can't find it on their website product listings.

Yes me too. I saw some pretty good youtube reviews and action videos on this knife and for the money it would be one you wouldn't worry about using like its intended to be used. I just wonder if Ka-Bar is still supporting it.

I haven't heard any bad about Ka-bar's customer support. I would think if you got one they would still honor a warranty on it even if they were out of production. If you really want something that is still in production check out the Cutlass Machete I've heard pretty good things about it, though it is a bit bigger.
