Ka-Bar Next Generation - Serrations on the "right" side!! Go Ka-Bar!!

I just recieved a Ka-bar Next Gen with serrations and was VERY happy to see the serrations are on the proper side!!!

Go Ka-Bar!! :thumbup:

Finally, a company that made a knife to be used and not photographed to sell in a catalog.

Any other companies with the balls to do this?

These are "right side" serrations for right handed users.

I think what he means is that most serrations are cut on the "wrong" side of the blade for right handed person to use pushing away from themselves.

Kershaw's and Spyderco's are all cut for a lefty in my opinion.

I know what you mean. Most companies put serrations on the same side as Emerson puts their chisel-grind, making them much less effective imho.

Ka-bar's serrations on the combat/utility models are great and leave plenty of straight edge. Nice round serrations don't seem to have any real drawbacks compared to the popular pointy, tooth-like style.
