Hello I know nothing about knives but my aunt found this one on the shores of Lake Winnipeg and asked if I could find out it's Origins. Can anyone help me out from the pictures taken? I believe it says Ka Bar Olean NY from doing some internet research. Everything I read says it is a combat knife used in war I'm just wondering how it ended up in Lake Winnipeg LOL. And what the actual age would be. It definitely looks like an antique. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you! I cannot figure out how to add a picture to this thread so if you reply I can send the photos for you to review.

You may want to look on the Ka Bar site and see if there's anything close to yours.
It's a company that's been around for decades and has made lots of knives for civilians and government.

You need a pic hosting site. Imgur is good and free. Upload your pics there, select your pic and click the button for "message boards and forums". Copy and paste that link here.
