Ka-Bar pliers

I think these were made by Utica as they offered their own makers mark on them too .
Anyhow Ka-Bar sold these along with their rigging knife . (Left click a couple of times to enlarge) .

Thanks for asking Dan . I love to show people this knife . It is a Ka-Bar rigger , fixed up by me . Original , these knives came with Rose wood scales and brass pins .
Anyhow when this one came to me it was half past dead , missing one scale and someone did a little touch up sharp on the bench grinder (thankfully they stopped before it was to late) . The new scales are Corian , the pins I made and filled with epoxy , had to make a new guard , made the Marline spike . The sheath I bought by it's self and the pliers came with what Ka-Bar calls the Marine Mate set , and that is a sheath and a Ka-Bar folder and of course the (hard to come by) pliers .
One of these days I'm going to try my hand at some scrimshaw .
