Ka Bar still has the best customer service.

I got a new BK-5 a while back and immediately bonded with it when the tip poked through the end of the sheath and drew blood. I contacted KaBar customer support and they sent out a new sheath (hand inspected, no less) and some extra swag to boot! The playing cards are really nice, love the graphics on them. As always, KaBar customer support is the best!

I love to read posts like this. As much as I would hate to have to experience their customer service first hand, I am comforted by the fact that When I do see a post like this, it is 99% of the time resolved with zero complaints.
 
I have also had a good experience with Kabar (on my first one actually). Ordered a BK2, and the snap on the strap was broken, so I contacted them and they sent me a new sheath (one of the first "NO GLASS" ones actually, and I made a thread about it here).

No complaints from my about my experience with any Kabar so far :).

Although I will say, Customer service is one of the parts of a company that I always hope that I never have to experience (kind of like how I never "want" to experience my jeeps air bags). But its always good to know that its good beforehand.

And grats on the BK5 :).
 
lol, my 5 did the same to me, tip poking thru; having it at the hip and using paracord for a leg tie, I readjusted sheath position when I sat in a car. Grabbed right where the tip was saying hi, got me a half inch shallow slice in my right ring fingertip.

Those cards are awesome, if you whip those out at a pokertable, you are the baddest motherf........ in the house, LOL
I sure wouldlove a set of those....
