Ka-Bar suggestions?

I really like my Ka-bar and want to buy something different from them. Its pretty much between their fighter and their tanto. Im leaning more towards the black fighter with the thicker blade because its more versatile, but I like the looks of tanto :rolleyes:. Also, Im not sure about the sheaths. the fighter has a cordura/leather one, and the tanto has a glass filled nylon one. Any suggestions?
 
Take a look at the becker bk7 combat utility knife. Made in USA and very reasonably priced...lot's of knife for the money. I do like that KA-BAR fighter too.
 
Lol I have one, and dont like the handle. Good blade though. Its really just between the Ka-bars for right now.
 
Okay, I hate to be rude, but this isnt helping....I asked what you thought about those specific knives. I've allready done my shopping, and I like the two that its come down to, I just want opinions on which of the two you think is the better knife. Im probably just going to buy the fighter anyways, but your opinions on the sheaths would be helpful.

It's really up to your personal preferences.

I consider the Kydex sheath of the Ka-Bar Black Tanto Knife as more resistant
against rain and humidity. And it seems to have more versatile wear options.

But, in my opinion, the leather/Cordura combination sheath of the Ka-Bar Black
Fighter has a better look and feel than the more plastic-like Kydex sheath.
 
I have a Tanto Ka-Bar, it is a good knife. It is not, however, what I need in a knife. For what it is, it is great for the money. It is no strider, so you can't use the spine to frame a house or beat someone to death if your edge is dull and your point is chipped.........LMAO. Seriously, get the warthog or tanto, you will not be dissapointed.
 
Ok thanks. I only plan on wearing it at my side, so the carry options aren't that big of a deal. The cordura/leather should work just fine, but if it doesnt, I can always get something made. I want something longer than the warthog, and the fighter has a similiar wide blade, so I think ill go with it.
