Ka-Bar Tanto

I am thinking of buying a Ka-Bar Tanto, model 1245. Any opinions, advices and/or user experiences will be highley appreciated!

Well if you are trying to get a tanto, then I think the kabar is a good choice. But if you are trying to get a kabar, I think I would recommend the regular bowie combat style blade. I guess it depends on what you want to use it for.

Thanks for your reaction. What makes the regular combat style blade better then the tanto-shape?

IMHO - the regular style blade would be more useful for regular utility chores and camping duty than the tanto blade.
