Does anyone use any of these knives. I really like the way that it feels and all of its different carry options. Any imput would be great.

thanks
Steve

In the original version (2.3" blade), I think this is an ok knife. That's it... just ok.

The steel is not the best. The handle is too short and not "grippy" enough. The knife is not comfortable wearing gloves. Bare-handed, the choil sometimes digs into the knuckle of your pointer finger depending on your grip. The sheath doesn't provide enough retention for my tastes. Hey, it's only $20!

I like the larger versions a little better.

But, these are just my opinions. :)

Is'nt the k-bar the knife that all the Bando goes train with, and Dr. Ghyi was teaching at his seminars? I heard that the k-bar is a great knife. I actually am looking at getting one for myself.

The KA-BAR famed military/fighting knife and the KA-BAR TDI knife are two different knives.

My above opinion is on the KA-BAR TDI knife.

Nice, Normark. I don't know about you, but as soon as I got the knife I felt the factory sheath was inadequate.

I like this knife, there are just others I like better.

Here's my TDI sheath:
