Ka-Bar versus Kabar

Could someone clue me about those two brands? I've seen knives listed with both of those and seem to remember that one is good, one is bad.

Anyone help me out?

Yup, cowboy is right.
They're the same - you just need to put the 'bar' (dash) between the Ka and the Bar...

Go to their website and you'll know which is the 'correct' spelling...
 
If I am remembering this right, the earlier knives are stamped KABAR, and sometime after WWII they began stamping them Ka-Bar. Perhaps one of our experts can confirm this?
