Ka-Bar War Sword

Hi All,
I am looking to buy this knife and all the reviews I have seen about this knife are either cutting water bottles, or people sitting at their desk talking about it.

I am concerned with functionality.

Any of you guys or gals used this? I love my Beckers, so of course I love weight forward designs. How weight forward (blade heavy) is this and how well does it chop?

I use mine at least weekly, if not daily out in the woods and really enjoy it.
Have used it to chop/split a bunch of 3-6 inch trees. It has handled feather sticks
and making small stuff around the fire. The handle is ok, but will either buy or make something
nicer for it.

It does not chop as well as any of my machete's but I don't think any knife will.

Don't know how the balance compares to a Becker. The balance point on my finger is just above the top
of the handle.
