  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Ka-bar warthog any comments?

I have one, it's different, very sturdy, and sharp. For $40 it comes with a decent sheath, too. Good for rough jobs.

You get what you pay for. It's a good knife, and makes a great shovel if you don't happen to have one laying around.

Our oldest son has used his for many weeks of camping with his scout troop. It does a great job of being a all round camping knife. Just be sure to keep the edge as dry as possible.

Oh please! The $40 USMC Kabar was used in combat situations by THOUSANDS of troops in life or death situations. I doubt the majority of people on this forum need better quality than that!:p

It's a direct ripoff of the Newt Livesay "sniper," and the ht is less than ideal, but it's almost worth the price.
