Thanks Warrior, but I'm better off leaving this one to the pros. I'll probably just buy one, I'm nowhere near the level y'all are when it comes to Ka-Bars.

I don't have anything that resembles a date, but it will be soon, very soon. The one's we had at Blade, were the some of the first one's to arrive. That's means dealer shipments aren't too far away.
You're gonna like it better than the first ones, the handle is better suited for this new blade, and Toooj has redone a couple of things with the blade.

Calling in my order tomorrow, just saw it on the site for the 18th I think. My Squad leader during my first tour in Iraq had one. He beat the hell out of it. Used it as a shovel several times, not for fighting hole construction, more like cat hole construction. It really impressed me at the time, course I had a Machax on my hip so he was more jealous than I was. I think he used it to dig the grenade and water sumps in training also. I hope they do the Nudes sheath as an option also.

I'm hoping to get a review in on it soon, I got one at Blade, and I wanna see what it can do. Toooj's handle design makes a huge improvement over the older "Kabar Oval" that it used to have. This new one seems larger than the older ones. Perhaps its just me. I got an idea for the review, so, we'll see.

I can't say enuf of the Warthog. Had mine for awhile and as you can see it likes the abuse. Keep it in the Jeep. Looking forward to the newer versions reviews.
