I just recieved a kabar impact warthog the other day and I am impressed. The thing came razor freaking sharp(and I got the scars to proove it).I've used it for everything from an eating utensel to a camp knife. Is there anyone else out there who likes theese knives if so please give me some feedback :D

As an outdoor/camp knife I am sure it will do just fine. The steel I think is 1095 and should perform well. I have one of their Marine knives & it is a great performer in the camp/ survival type of situation.

i like the warthog also, hope to use it on skinning deer this season. works great for light chopping chores. i really like the 1095 steel.

I am thinking of getting the warthog aswell. I am torn between it and the full size black tanto. It will most likely be getting used hooked onto my IBA. I am in the military and in need of a good, solid, monster knife.

I would go with the warthog if you want a beefy knife. It's hefty and makes a good chopper, and it can also handle prying. Its an all around great knife for the price.
