I lost my good luck knife Friday April 29 enroute to a very dear friends memorial service or at the service itself. I carried a Kabar 1187 pocket knife every day for the last 30+ years. I have lost this knife twice before. Once I had to dredged it out of the Yahara river with a 20 pound magnet. The other time it fell through a hole in my pocket while I was driving my tractor on my 122 acres. A lady who consulted on my prairie installation pointed it out to me while it was laying on the ground. Just pure luck. The seam of my pants pocket split and the knife slipped out of it some time Friday. A call to the funeral home produced no results.
Granted, this is not an expensive loss. It just has a LOT of sentimental value to me.
