I see the BK 15 has went on sale for around 45$ and im thinking I want one. is there any variances or things I should look for in terms of fakes etc? Are they all the same?

are they worth the 45$ ?

I guess im just needing some reassurance on this Knife.

Thanks in advance.

Only differences are stamped or etched - all the same otherwise.

They are great camp knives - get one before they are gone.

Thank you Sir for your reply, so I guess they haven't really had a fake problem? I am going to buy one from a reputable seller on the bay and would like to send someone a link via pm or email have them check it out before I pull the trigger.

Fake's are not a problem with the BK15.

They're worth their original price of $65 so $45 is a great deal! You might find them a bit cheaper at some BF supporting vendors.

I usual buy from Dex at CoyleOutdoors but he seems to be out now - http://www.coyleoutdoors.com/bk-15/#cc-m-product-10040031883

Someone posted a good deal in another thread recently.

Thanks Travis. im always a little leary of fakes. although I have totally compared the one I bought with several others including the one on the Kabar website.

If you're truly worried about buying a fake - Knifecenter has it on sale for $43

I don't think I've ever seen a fake Becker, though.

I saw the ones at KC but went another way, reputable seller on the site. good to know fake Beckers are not commonplace,

thanks Witty.

The BK15 is a keeper for sure. And, as previously posted, fakes are typically not a problem with Becker knives. The BK15 is my personal favorite Tweener and I doubt you will be disappointed. It's good at everything from bushcraft to skinning to cutting your steak at he dinner table. It's a great all-arounder.

hey Hey HEY!

reputable bay dealer? what? :D
yeah, there are fake beckers.

sadly, i don't own any. the power of mocking.

Hmm seems that someone has pricked up Bladites little Octopus ears. Ears? Tubes? Vents?? Anyway, listen to this octopus. He knows what he's talking about. Yes, there are fakes of pretty much everything out there. Go for a reputable dealer listed on this site. They pay good money to be listed dealers for a reason. Plus you'll be supporting them and this site. Better to spend a few extra bucks to be sure, you won't get ripped off that way..

BeeKay and Bladite, you guys are scaring me,:D

I usualy do buy from dealers here, when I get this knife im going to post pics and you guys can then assert wether its real or a fraud. like I said, this is coming from a reputable (over 100K positives) dealer and I have compared pics to known and real BK15s.

I cant wait to get it. My first Becker but my 50th fixed blade.

I got my BK15 today and I am very impressed! what a great Knife especially for the money I paid! ill get some pics up soon.
from the great packaging to the overall first impression I am hooked.

thanks everyone for answering my questions!

Congrats, Mercy.
Now post up some pix so we can tell you how smart you are.

Thanks daizee,

im not a photographer but heres some I took a few minutes ago. this Knife has a great balance to it in my hands, quite amazing how well it feels. from packaging to the Knife itself im totally impressed.(sorry about the Copenhagen in the pic) Pay no mind to the time/date stamp in the pics, I never set that on the camera.

Looks great man!
They're shipping a can of Cope with each BK15?
Might have to finally pull the trigger on one if that's the case. :D

At the current price, I really need to pick one up.

Hey Jon!
🌀 I wish they threw in a free can of Copenhagen at the price they charge for it. Lol

I'm very pleased with the BK15! A great knife for sure. I'm looking at another Becker model now I'm so impressed. Most of my fixed blades are mainly Case and Buck and I have several models of each but I can see now with this 15 I'm truly going to like the Becker line.
I have a few older Kabar fixed blades and that's how I ultimately ran in to the Becker line.

Now take that pretty little knife and quickly strip her, not too carefully either and turn her into the rugged little tool that she is and enjoy the outdoors with her. You will find her delicate and rugged, sleek and strong - heck of a package!
