Kabar Becker BK7 Sheath

Hey guys so I'm in the market for a Kabar and I'm looking at either the Bk10 or the Bk7. I really like both knives but I leaning more towards the BK7 for the longer length and a cheaper price on Amazon. I was wondering if you guys could help me on one thing though. The thing that is keeping me from instantly pulling the trigger on the BK7 is the sheath. I've read multiple reviews saying that the sheath is absolute garbage and isn't MOLLE ready. Being MOLLE ready is a MUST for me. I stumbled upon this while Googling my question and I was wondering if anyone has bought a BK7 from Amazon recently and could confirm this for me.

The black sheath on top is from the Kabar Becker while the green one on the bottom is from Becker Knife and Tool. While watching a bunch of reviews on Youtube I noticed that almost everyone had the green sheath on the bottom with a few exceptions that got the BK7 when it came with the Remora. I'm planning on buying it from Amazon b/c I have Prime so could someone help me out? Much appreciated!

Your post is a little confusing to read. But when you amazon up Beckers, the BK7 on the front comes with the black sheath pictured on the top, and it's definitely molle ready.
 
Sorry for the confusion I'm just nervous about which sheath will be shipped when I buy it from Amazon. On Amazon when I search up "Kabar Becker BK7" I only get the knife description, nothing about the sheath. Customer uploaded pictures shows the black sheath with the MOLLE tactile tie on the back. Guess I'll just have to wing it.
 
Considering how many people modify their BK7s and get customized sheaths made for them, I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a MOLLE compatible sheath on here if you looked/asked.

I can tell you that you won't get the green sheath at the bottom of your picture. That is a Camillus era sheath (on top of a Camillus era box), and those are long gone from the pipeline. Camillus went out of business and no longer makes the Becker line.
Amazon tends to move their knives quickly. (I'm assuming you're not getting the BK-7 from a second party vendor through Amazon). I ordered a BK-9 from there recently when they jacked the price way, way down for a day or two. The pictures showed the old roll stamped version. I got the newer laser etched version. No complaints, but it just goes to show that Amazon tends to ship the later models because of their high turnover.
 
If that's the case then I'll be sure to get mine off Amazon. Cheapest price I've seen for a BK7. $69 with no tax and Prime shipping! The reviews I saw on Youtube were for the Kabar Becker though not the Camillus era that's why I was a little skeptical. If I do get the black sheath then I probably won't invest in a new sheath for a while. Thanks guys!
 
Just got my Becker BK7 from Amazon the day before yesterday. Highly anticipated and I was not disappointed. It DID come with the black MOLLE compatible sheath and the new textured coating.
 
Should be the same one they've been using for a while, the one the OP got when he purchased his (black, has a pouch, single strap, and MOLLE compatible).

It's the same one they use for the BK5, and its the same design as the ones they use for the BK 9, 10, and 22.
