I was reading Mooses post over in the Beckerhead discussion thread, where was described the intention with the Beckerhead groups.
Moose posted:
Which got me thinking, that Kabar/Becker knives needs a official Facebook group/Fan page where people can join or click the "Like" button.
I tried searching for one, but i didnt find anything official.
Not every Kabar/Becker owner is a BF member. Alot of them are just regular people who appreciate their knives, and they should also have a place where they can voice their appreciation. Whats better than Facebook, where millions of people all over the world are members? Spyderco has a page with over 4700 likes. So does Benchmade with over 10500. Emerson is on too and the list goes on.
ESEE has a group with 665 members, and alot of the posts are seemingly made by regular guys and girls who like their knives. Why not make a group/page for Kabar and Becker? It wont cost anybody anything.
Facebook would put Kabar/Becker in touch with many people who like their knives for the exact same reason we do.
Please note, that im not saying Facebook should replace the BF forum, but im only suggesting an idea to expose Kabar/Becker to the masses.
What do you think?

...As to the thread posting, my idea with the Beckerheads idea is not to just become a frateral group (chicks welcome too, by the way)but to promote Becker/Kabar knives. The only way we can do that is by word of mouth, and to show people on the internet, how interesting Beckers can be. On the average, the Becker forum has7-9 viewing, ESEE, 55-60, W&SS 110-115. Know why? There are tons of interesting discussion, that have to do with all kinds of subjects, not just the knives, but trips with knives, holidays with knives, jobs with knives, and stuff like that. The more we get viewing, the more Kabar is going to look at this as a great way to market products and advertisement. Therefore, they will be more willing to supply, us, the Beckerheads with more stuff to keep it going. See what I mean? Back scratchinh, ya'll.
