Kabar Becker handle

Srry what now? You mean a 1217 with either full size or tweener Becker grips?

I mean a 1217 has a rat tail tang which would not work with Becker style grips....

Maybe screw the to together heat up the rat tail and melt it through the plastic than fill the handles up with an epoxy than pin it? Maybe? Nvr seen or heard of it being done before
 
Instead of the 1217 look at the BK-7, it is about as close as you're going get without having to do too much modifications.

The BK-7 will take more of a beating than the 1217.
