Kabar belt clip

Howdy all,

Was wondering if anyone has the metal kabar belt clip. I think it comes with their tdi knives but can also be bought separately.

Thought it might be a good way to attach to the sheath of the 11 to carry it on the belt.

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with it to say if it is sturdy or not?
 
I have one for my 11

it works okay

but imo using some 550 cord to tie onto your belt is just as effective, the clip makes the sheath very bulky and much heavier

if you want to neck with the knife you will want to take the clip off, but will need to keep up with the screw size as its very small
 
I have it on my necker sheath, it is steel and pretty sturdy. The actual clip could be a little tighter but I still like it. You can also use paracord to make your own belt loop to carry at different angles which I like better.:thumbup:
 
Looks like paracord is most recommended.

I have a bunch of it so might as well use it for something.

Pm doesn't work for me for some reason. I'm leaving out of the country for a few weeks tho.

But if I get back and I think I need it I'll be happy to pay to take it off your hands.
 
I had one i got from gdeno and I gifted it to a buddy. If it only would have allowed a quick on/off horizontal carry, it would have been tits.
