I've tried googling it, I've even tried looking at the specs of each one, but nothing is different. Talking about the blade itself btw. Because I know the difference is mainly the sheathe. But ive heard that one blade is hollowed out in the handle portion?

If anyone can point out if there is a difference in the knives only, if appreciate it.

The BK2 and BK22, from a knife perspective, are exactly the same. The ONLY difference between the 2 is the sheath and the number on the box. If you get a BK22, the knife will be stamped w/ a BK2.

Yep, the knives are exactly the same. All currently produced Becker knives have "hollowed out tangs". From what I recall, this is done because Ethan likes knives to have a slightly blade heavy balance point. This, and it saves weight without sacrificing strength. I don't recall exactly, but I know some previous (maybe Cincinnati?) versions had non-skeletonized tangs.

Yes they are the same. All currently produced models have skeletonized tangs. This is not assign optional feature.

However various incarnations of the Bk2 have existed over many years my several companies.

The earliest habeas, like mine, we're solid all the way through. It also lacks the extended pummel. That means where the handle ends, the knife ends. Lack of an extended tang is an easy way to spot the old ones
