Just saw an auction on the bay and was wondering if this means that the newer ones with the new coatings and laser etching are now available? It says it is the Kabar not Camillus version and the price is pretty close to the LE version. Should we expect these to be showing up at other dealers soon? I know as of today they are not available at Tomars. Not sure if I am allowed to post the link.
 
Well, the picture they show is not one of the Ka-bar Machax's. There is no swedge on that 4. So I wonder what they really have.
 
I believe that the picture is that of an older model Machax and sheath. Yeah I am also wondering what they have. I would much rather purchase a knife from a reputable dealer (i.e. Tomars, etc), but I just wondering if they were released yet.

sent the seller an email asking to confirm Kabar or Camillus. I imagine they just pulled an old stock photo, but I asked to be sure. I'll post if I get a reply.
 
seller confirmed it is Kabar, wrong picture. They are working to correct it.
