I really had planned for this month to be a low knife buying month, and then I end up buying three knives and a flashlight! Got a Pat Crawford Kasper folder, a ZT0650ST automatic, and a ITP flashlight. Figured I maight as well go ahead and get the Kabar Bulldozier as I have liked it's looks since the first time I saw it. Guess my question would be; who has one and what do you think about it? I actually doubt it will do more than sit on my nightstand as a comforter when answering the door at 2AM! BTW, for anyone who has it, does the false/top clip come sharp?

I have one. It has one of the better handles on a factory knife, comfy for long term use. No, the false edge is not sharp.

Thanks for the info watchcollector. Does the handle feel solid to you? That was one thing I wasn't sure about with the zytel/kraton construction. I have even entertained having a set of micarta grips made if I don't warm up to the handle as is.

I love mine, it feels realy nice in my hand although it's a big knife...what do you think of ITP so far??? and what model did you get???

I have one and it is very comfortable. I received mine with a sharpened false edge. Don't really know why mine came sharpened and watchcollector's did not.

I got mine yesterday, and I am really pleased. The handle is a very solid one.
Mine was also unsharpened on the top, but the bottom edge was very sharp and after a few passes on the white stones of my Sharpmaker it was very, very sharp. The knife has a great feel in my hand and I like how the kraton is placed and it really gives you a great grip. I finally realized that the blade has a semi-scimitar shape with the high clip and the way the blade spine curves up to meet it, and that is what drew me to it in the first place. All in all a very nice knife for the price!:D

Treg, so far so good. I love how simple it is to ramp it up or ramp it down between 6 lumens to 190 lumens. I got model C9. Got my son the E50 and he really likes it. The C9 takes a single 123CR and has a half smooth, half orange peel reflector. The smooth part gives it a fairly tight center beam. The E50 takes two 123CR's and ramps up/down just like the C9. The E50 has a full orange peel reflector.

Ok I'm confused... I double checked my Bull Dozier and it came with a sharpened false edge. Was a sharpened false edge an option? I assumed they all came with a sharp false edge. Ok Kabar experts are there two versions? Sounds like the other posts in this thread came with unsharpened false edge.

Mine came unsharpened, I too have a ITP C9 Cutter and I also have a C6 for extra throw...they are great and not just for the price.
