Always liked the combat kukri, but I always hated the grippy rubber handle. I've had it for a long time but only used it maybe once.
Thought I would try a stacked leather handle.
The butt plate was tricky to get off and I scratched it up a lot.
I only had JB weld on hand so that's the epoxy I used, luckily the leather didn't hold that dark gery color.
Sanded it down, put some slight contours on it. Oiled and waxed it, lightly buffed.
I wasn't planing of stripping the coating off the blade originally or I would have done that before I put the leather on.
Turned out pretty good, or atleast good enough for me.
