Just received my D2 Kabar. Nice knife good quality and well made. The balance is quite good and the overall fit and finish is excellent.
The Eagle sheath is a bonus. I would give the knife just on appearance and workmanship 4 stars out of 5. I have not field tested as of yet.

Any ideas on what kind of sharpner to carry in the sheath pocket. I was thinking on a "take down" diamond steel? Any thoughts
