Guys I just wanted to say some things about this knife. I got STR to put a lowrider clip on it for me and I first want to say Steve does such awesome work. I really like how low these sit in the pocket, you dont even notice it's there. This knife from kabar is great, the blade is really nice. I reprofiled the blade to fifteen degrees yesterday and polished it on the paper wheels. The steel polishes up real nice and very sharp. The blade holds an edge very nicely, this is my first blade in D2 steel and I have to say I like it.

I used it all last week since I got it back from steve on monday and it held an edge real well. Until I cut some cardboard yesterday, which I believe is the bane of all blade steels. :thumbdn:

Who is STR?

And did Bob Dozier make that knife? I thought he only made traditional style knives.

It's imported by Ka-Bar, made in Japan, and designed by Bob Dozier.
