I saw this at Blade, but since I was overstimulated :D,I neglected to get info on the vendor,or where to obtain one.

They were the Kabar Dozier folders, the original ones, but,I saw blaze orange & hot pink FRN handles !

Anyone know where to get these on - line ?

Thanks in advance for any help,
-Vince

Out of all you knife nuts here,no one saw these? :D

I was not at the show, :( but I am a big fan of the k-bar Dozier line. I have only seen them in black.

knarfeng,I looked at them through the glass case as I walked by,but I'm 99.9% sure, they were the exact Kabar Dozier folders but in two colors.LarryM saw them, too,he was w/me...I gotta ask him....

They are making versions with some bright colored handles. I am not sure when they will be available for sale but there were some examples at the show.

Off topic, but I have been wondering if a 3.5 inch D2 folding hunter has been considered, and if Bob does the heat treat on the existing D2 Kabar/Dozier folders.

I hope this isn't a stupid question. I'm new to knives:o, but have read that Bob's D2 is the best out there.

Thanks to anyone who knows.

There are some larger ones, here is a link https://www.kabar.com/product_detai...1,2,3,7,8&categoryName=Product Search Results
You never know what design may be next!:)

We don't heat treat them at the Dozier shop but they are great little knives. I have one that I use in the office and I love it.

This is my current choice in a large lightweight production folder while sporting elastic waisted lightweight nylon sport shorts. The hole opener won' t snag in the pocket, flat profile minimizes bulk, and lightweight FRN scales won' t pull my shorts down to "gangsta" style! :p

BTW- both the Japanese made Thorn (from design of the Small Dagger handmade) and Folding Hunters from KaBar uses D2 steel. Good knives. But discontinued. Better find one soon if you want either or both...

Here are some of those colored handles KaBar was sporting at the Blade Show.

NICE. I'm not much for purple but a red or orange handled knife would be great for hiking. Much easier to find if you happen to set it down or drop it.

Thanks for posting those.
