Hey all my new kabars kraton handle is quite slippery, I’ve tried to wipe it with a wet rag and it’s still slippery once dried. Would a spray of wd40 help? Thanks.

No.
If it were I, I would try a bit of light sanding with sandpaper to remove the slick surface.

Moving to Maintenance and Tinkering forum.

i never had this I use them a lot thay do get seem to get less slick or more ruff as you use them if used a few different ones but mine are atleast 5 years old my users and the kraton grips I thought it was an amazing up grade compaired to the leather IMO

They are buffed smooth and polished.
Sand them down with some 220 or rougher sandpaper.

I forgot to say... once you do sand them, you'll want to use some sort of water proofing and/or preservative to protect the now rougher leather. A quick spray with something like Camp Dry (it's silicone based, but won't make it slippery), and some wax.
