  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

what do we think of the kabar impact series?
and what is the advantage/disadvantage of the spear tip versus the combat one?
thanks.:)

Spear tip is -IMO- more useful overall than a clip point. The Impact series is a very strong design in that they use a full tang with slabs. Most companies use a rat tail tang-one that tapers-and pin it. The Impact series are strong performers.Basically, the speartip is a stronger point,is more versatile and if one had to do light prying, less likely to snap.

How do you guys think the Impact 4.5in spear point would compare to the Ontario TAK1. Ive been looking into these knifes thinking about getting one.
