Can Kabar please bring back the the full tang Impact!!!!!! Doesn't even need to be in D2 (although that would be nice) 1095 would still be outstanding. It's such a fantastic blade, I know others out there would love to see it re-released!!! Would love to have a non serrated version.

Agreed. Re-release in a plain edge, but I am a big fan of D2, so I might not acquiesce on that aspect. LOL

+1 on plain edge.

Is it similar in size to the 1117?

I'd like to see a side by side. The 117 was a great little knife once I made scales and a sheath for it. I understand the idea was for a concealable self defense knife. Didn't quite fit my needs in that regard, but it was a great little hunting, fishing, utility knife. I'd probably still own it if the handle were a good 1/2" longer.

Strange that I see this post, because I just got one sent to me in addition to the D2 Fighter I bought.... :D

I'm not a fan of the spear point and the sheath but I love the size and that its D2. Make it the clip point version without serrations and I would get one.

Actually I think I mentioned this on another ka-bar thread, I would love to see a short version of the Ka-bar Next Gen in D2, and have it with and WITHOUT serrations. Even better would be a Becker Tweener in D2. I wish Kabar had more US made Stainless steel and D2 options.

Sign me up. I saw the 1117 and thought that would be great if they made it bigger. Then I saw the impact series and kicked myself for ignoring them when available.

i'd prefer a plain edge.

Agreed. Not finding one in PE was what kept me from buying one. I like the knife but CE or SE are no go for me. I like D2 blades for fixed and folders.
