So I couldn't resist it for only $10 shipped. I plan on it going "piggyback" in my BK4 sheath pouch.

It's 5Cr13, so not too terrible and should be easy to sharpen up.

So on a side note, what are the general opinions on the many 5Cr skelotonized knives that KaBar has out there like the Jarosz, Snody Administrator, Ascheron, Dozier, Skeleton etc. Most are sub $10? I actually like several of them anyone else?

I got one with the Potbelly. It sharpened up well I have never used it so can't say how well it will last. But I wouldn't expect to much from it. Wish it was 1095 or even 440  but than it wouldn't be just 10. :p

don't expect much from it, I sharpened mine very frequently albeit it's truly easy to sharpen, even with that curve on the blade

It wa way more comfortable than it looks, and slices like a champ! Run, arm hairs, run!!!

I also have mine very sharp I just don't have any idea how well the edge will last with use as I haven't used it . All the little inexpensive KaBars look great. I just have never had any confidence in some of the international made blades?

KA-BAR's Taiwan-made blades are very very good. I haven't had much experience with their Chinese knives.

I had a piggyback for a long time, and used it a lot. It was awesome. I gave it to my stepson but am always about one drink away from having my inhibitions lowered enough to swoop in on a bunch of those inexpensive KA-BAR neck knives. Honestly the only thing holding me back is my Candiru... not much use in buying another neck knife when I have one of those.

Having said that, I can guarantee I'll have another piggyback as well as a Dozier sometime sooner rather than later.
