Anybody use one of these and if so what do you think, I purchased one a few days ago and for $28.00 bucks seem like a great bargain, I have not had time or the chance to use it yet but it feels good in the hand, has perfect fit and finish and is razor sharp. 1/8th inch thick blade so it has some heft to it but is very slim due to the design.

Just looking for some input from someone that has used it.

I think it is a great knife for the price, may pick up another in a few months.

It is a great knife. I must say, though, that on the two that I have, the rocker pin slides back and forth perpendicular to the handle. Pretty annoying.

Johnny, you may try peening that rockbar pin just a bit. Even out the position of that pin. And take an appropriate size diameter hardened steel punch and with a hammer, tap onto one end. This (a few trys is possibly necessary) should slightly mushroom that pin end just a tiny it to help minimize its moving. Both ends of the pin may require this. But just be sure both ends are well supported before taking to the hammer. If you are not equipped with basic handy work, it may be best to avoid this altogether. Others have tried a small handheld size butane torch to slightly "soften" the areas right at the end of the pins. This gives the handles a slightly melted affect- again helping to minimze movement. Perform either method at your own risk! :)

My own take on this folder is that I do not like the ambi thumb studs too much. It is too smooth at the top for a decent thumb placing. A file would cure this. Additionally, the lockbar tension is quite strong- enough to hamper thumb stud opening. If clipped into the pants pocket, the outside facing stud will catch the pants material when on the draw. I prefer to keep this folder in my rear pocket or vest pocket. And open it with a traditional 2 hand method.

The blade cuts well enough. But if you have the patience and the resource, you can thin out the edge til you get a wider bevel. Now that' s a real slicer! Overall, it' s a good using basic production knife at a fair price.
