Kabar like old knife or.....

Recent fleamarket find. The blade is the same size as a Kabar blade. Tip of blade curve is rounder to a slight degree. The handle is made of wood and part of the guard by the handle is bent upwards and is incorporated into the handle. On the blade, by the guard are the words: Fundicion Artilleria de Mexico. Any idea how old this knife is. The sheath is leather but not as robust as the sheath that comes with a Kabar. What kind of knife is this fleamarket treasure?

it kinda sounds like a military or replica of a military knife as it says artillery foundry of mexico (according to google lol)
