Kabar Mule

They're pretty substantial folders IMO and the AUS-8 isn't half bad either. All in all for the money you could do a lot worse.

Solid as a ZT folder and the sheath is the toughest I've ever had. Great knife and a real bargain at the price.

I bought one for my son about 2 years ago - it was the made in Taiwan AUS8 version. He does a lot of camping but is not really into knives. The knife has seen a lot of hard use and is still solid as a (folding) rock. I usually sharpen it for him and the edge holds up pretty well for the price and grade of steel. Apart from the wearing of the black coating the knife is functionally as good as new.
