Here you go, Mini BK3 TacTool as a pistol bayonet. I would like to hear some of ya'lls comments on this, but keep it clean, and play nice, lets keep to the topic, Becker blade design, mini'd out, and hung on your heater.

Form is there, but what would you use it for?

Any Mods you can see right off?

What about the sheath, thoughts?

I think a mini tactool would be incredibly useful, just not as a bayonet. The point of a bayonet is to pierce like a dagger, but the tactool has no sharp point. Still, I have to say it's really cool. I would like it more for utility purposes.

i know along time ago before we were born.

they had bayonets on their pistols on board ships, incase pirates attacked and they missed a shot they could stab them with it. but other than that i don't see a use for it.

seems more of a hollywood movie thing. but some smaller versions of bkt knives as neckers or letter openers would be cool.

It's a novelty item in my eyes. Its designed to pry, but who would pry w/ a pistol?
If it had a non-skeletonized handle that accepted the bk11 scales, I would want it. Pocket sheath would be nice also.

It is a gimmick in current form, but a gimmick w/ a lot of potential. Loose the pistol mount though.

What about using it to stabilize against cover?

Or for a close body shot, keeping the muzzle from becoming dislodged, and put a little more umph in the contact?

I think its kinda, fun, I guess, but I'm wondering if its a unfound treasure at the moment.

Could you make a different handle and use it as a small knife? TacNecker?

I don't know, but I'm trying to find out.

use the wire breaker notch to give the bad guy an option -- simple orchidectomy or instant sex change.

Its cool and all, but I just dont see any practical uses for it mounted on a pistol. I mean its not like you are gonna try and pry anything while mounted on your gun(please tell me you wouldnt......right??),and you wouldnt be able to puncture anything very well with the flat end,but if you did the amount of force it would take would probably break the knife mount or the rail on your gun.

I would just like to see the blade profile on a Bk11 or Eskbar handle. I am still curious as to what the tang is like in the handle, maybe there is something there to make different handle from.

Well as far as a bayonet, not useful how would you holster it? Not to mention drawing your weapon if you ever needed it. It would definitely be awesome as a necker variant though. It would basically be a county comm prybar on steroids.

I don't think you would want to use it to stabilize on cover. When using a barricade, I've always been taught not to place metal on cover, rather light pressure on your hand. Maybe it's taught different elsewhere.

I agree that it was made as a gimmick but it's a cool talking piece.

You are at the range.....Your best friend is having a very bad day......You palm the bayonet out of your bag and hand it to him with the following sage advice.....Hey, try this...It may help.......

All Best....

I don't use cover for support either, I was just throwing out some ideas. I had a 3rd Bat Ranger buddie of mine that shot on the Army's Marksman Team. They had special bumps on the front of their M9's, that were used for edge support during mobile targe engagement. Most were custom jobs, but I always thought it was weird. Seemed to work for them though.

I was thinking I'd use it as a wire cutter, crate opener, letter opener, cheese knife. I'm sure after having it, one would come up with lots of uses.

Now, apply that same thinking but to the BK2 or 7. Something in the 3 1/2" to 4" from Becker would be awesome.

mini becker handles, little kydex belt sheath. awesome.
On a pistol? uhh... funny yes, practical, no.

As I said before a mini-tactool necker would be very useful. maybe rehandle it or something. Just don't see no reason for it as a pistol bayonet other than the cool factor or a conversation piece. It is neat to look at.

all i can say is that i hope:
o we see the full Becker line made into these super deformed chibichibi

o Ethan is getting royalties on it ;)

o if the TacTool had worn that polymer sheath in the first place, it wouldn't be having babies with that Glock playahplayah

o Where's mine? :)

o if you get one, and grind off the rail attachment point, it might actually be a very cool mini-pry bar at a price point that doesn't break the bank, keychain?

o going the other way, a TacTool that can fire bullets. mmm. with a lasersight...

yeah

Kinda silly imo. As Ethan suggested, it would be good for a laugh and probably useful by itself but not when mounted to a firearm. I suggest pairing it with some Groucho glasses.

:D
