I have 2 old kabars I need restored they need new leather and are rusted can anyone point me in the right direction like to have restored

ka bar sell the handle kits on there website and rust removal how bad is it you could use cocacola or petrol to lift rust wire wool and oil wet and dry lots of options for rust removal then polish them or acid etch them Apple cider vinegar works well on 1095 hope this helps
ps take the handle off be for you do the rust removal and polish or acid etch be for you fit the new one

Gotta post a picture of how bad the rust is.
If it's minor i suggest Wd40 and fine steel wool.
Otherwise there are plenty of more aggressive methods of handle more serious rust, it just depends how far you're willing to go and if the knives have sentimental value or anything.
