Hey fellas.
Does anybody else here use the smaller version of the KABAR USMC fighting knife??
I, personally, find it extremely useful, and prefer it over the larger version, which I also possess.
I've used mine extensively in the woods, and found that the size is perfect for general chores.
The only thing I found, is that I needed to convex the edge, since the original edge seemed relatively dull. Also, The grinds appear different on each size of the blade; I didn't find it to impair performance, but it does hurt aesthetics.

What are your opinions??

ka-bars are'nt william henrys they are good multitask tools made with little attention to esthetics. appearance generally has no importance in use.

I have one and find it a very good knife. I thinned out the egde quite a bit and ground off the top guard. I think it's just about perfect.

bought one for the wife to carry on our property in the caribou, and why it is the same price or more expensive than the full size is beyond me.
good little knife for a tiny handed wife
