Does anyone know what the small hole in one side of the end of the handle is? I'm thinking to sharpen the tip of a hook??????????

I had to do an image search for the model, so obviously I'm not an expert. But I do know the stone on a fishing knife handle is to sharpen hooks. Perhaps the hole is to rebend a hook that has been straightened out. Hopefully someone comes along with a better answer

That would be my guess. Hopefully someone comes along to confirm or set us straight.
